Al frente se puede leer: 10 MILLONES, que era la producción de toneladas de azúcar que planeaban producir en la zafra del 1970, pero que no se logró. Yo era una niña de 9 años en aquel entonces, pero recuerdo haber oído comentarios de que al ministro del azúcar lo sancionaron por la cantidad de dinero y recursos invertidos en la construcción de la carroza ese año. I think this is the MINAZ (Ministry of Sugar) float. On the front you can read: 10 MILLION, which was the production of tons of sugar that they planned to produce in the 1970 harvest, but that was not achieved. In the early 1970s, my father, photographer, artist and architect, Valery Ganchikov worked in Cuba. The collection of color transparencies of the Havana Carnival dates from this era. I scan transparencies in the highest resolution, restore and publish them.
