Description
Music work of art, Two tropical butterflies, on a musical score framed in an art nouveau frame.
The best decoration for a music salon and the best gift for a musician, music lover or music student. If you wish to organize an exhibition and sale of my musical paintings or a piano recital surrounded by my works at your musical institution, please send me a private message. I am open to various forms of collaboration with musical establishments and musicians of different genres and styles worldwide.
The modern composing techniques compel the creator to seek their unique language of musical notation. Some examples of such notation astound with their decorative nature, presenting themselves as true works of art. It is fascinating to perceive them not only as musical scores but also as self-sufficient visual objects.
In this score, I aimed to convey the idea of perpetual motion, a kind of "perpetuum mobile." The interweaving of musical notes, lines, and circles creates a sense of continuous flow, cyclical return, and renewal. This work can serve as a wonderful gift for a musician, adorn the interior of a music school or classroom, and provide a source of inspiration for a music teacher.
The free-form graphics, rendered with pen and ink on paper, allow for experimentation with the shape of musical notation, transcending the boundaries of the traditional staff. Circles and spirals, reminiscent of the gears of a fantastical mechanism, transform the score into a mysterious symbolic code. Here, the musical notes acquire a new dimension, becoming elements of an abstract graphical composition.
This work invites the viewer to see the familiar forms of musical notation in a new light, to discover music as an endless play of imagination, unbound by conventions. In it, classical musical notation is transformed into a unique "score of the imagination," a map of enigmatic sonic landscapes awaiting their explorer.
When you acquire the original of this painting, you receive not merely a work of art, but a unique artifact, personalized specifically for you. On the front side of the canvas, I will handwrite three lines: a dedication, an unrepeatable phrase from my music, and my autograph. Thus, this painting will become truly one-of-a-kind, intended solely for you.
If you are purchasing this piece as a gift for a musician, music lover, or your music teacher, I will gladly make a dedication to that individual. Such a present will become a priceless gift, retaining its significance throughout a lifetime.
Furthermore, you have the option to purchase a print, the cost of which is considerably lower than the original, while still being able to select the desired size and material for printing: various types of fine art paper, canvas, metal, silk, and much more. A wide range of accessories featuring this image is also available.
This painting will infuse your interior with a special refinement, elegance, and grace. I am continuously creating new additions to this collection, striving to embody the inexhaustible richness of the musical world in visual form.
